Recently the Lord showed me in a dream His plan to bring healing to many children, reunite families, and move powerfully through adoption to create families anew. Within this dream I could see a multitude of children all the way from infants to young children, that had been caught up in chaos, destruction, and despair. The outlook for them and their families was very dark and growing darker by the moment. The anguish was tangible. Even though the parents stood close to their children, the separation felt as though they were miles upon miles away. At the fear of what might come next, I wanted to hide my eyes, but the Holy Spirit reminded me of the authority we carry — His authority. I felt myself smile as I called out to Jesus, knowing He would hear and knowing He was already near.
I watched with utter awe and joy as the atmosphere completely transformed from one of a dark and dangerous storm to clouds of lightness and joy.
The tornado of destruction, separation and chaos met the One who has authority over it all. Clouds of darkness transformed into a whirlwind of His glory. Glory light radiated from His presence. Chaos had no choice but to bend the knee.
Children that had been swept from their parents arms were gently reunited with their families, and the only thing that filled the air was the sweet sound of laughter and unbridled joy. I watched on as parents who were far away were lifted and carried to meet their children in the air. Some of these parents were surprised as though this gift was not one they had seen coming, or as though a promise that they thought had been left unfulfilled came to pass in front of their eyes.
The authority, the invitation, and the joy of this dream has been planted deeply within my heart. I could feel His heart to bring physical, mental, and emotional healing to children and families, as well as to open up the previously closed doors of adoption. As I processed what I had seen, I asked the Holy Spirit what He wanted to say:
“I am returning children to the arms of their families. Many have seen their children pulled away from them through a tornado of chaos, destruction, and death. This has taken many different forms. But, I have seen, I have known, and I have felt the anguish of their hearts. I am coming and I have already come.
“Do not accept hope’s deferred promise of rest, for it is only death in disguise. Do not swallow the lie of acceptance for it is only defeat disguised as peace. For I am coming and have now come to transform this destruction into a move of My glory.
“Mothers and Fathers, release yourself from the pressures of merit and from the striving for perfection. You have not been made to carry these. Rest yourself upon MY faithfulness. Fasten yourself upon MY authority. From the place of MY deep love for you, speak. Pray. Release. Soak. Rest. Laugh. Your laughter is a weapon.
“From chaos, death, separation, to absolutely unquenchable joy, delight and peace. I will move. Watch as I step into the chaos that many are facing with just a word. With one gaze of your eyes, with one smile of your lips — I will enter in. What was designed for evil against these little ones and their families will be turned to delight. The chaos and destruction will transform and will bend the knee to My glory.
“You will watch and look on as cries of longing transform to gentle rolls of laughter, laughter from the bellies of My most precious ones.
“I am moving in the area of adoption in this era. Many arms have remained empty. Many hearts have spent years crying tears of loss, but watch as I reunite the hearts of the fathers and mothers with the lives of their children. From infants to young children, regardless of distance. I am placing and planting them within families. Even those who have promises long left behind, no space or distance will stop My faithfulness to My word.”
Right now there is such a beautiful emphasis upon the power of His delight. The power of HIS authority that we now carry in Christ. What was intended for destruction is transformed to a place of peace and joy through the presence and authority of Jesus. Be encouraged, be comforted, and strengthened as you lean into HIS love for you.
“Behold–here I stand, and the children whom the Lord Yahweh has given me are for signs and wonders in Israel, sent from the Lord Almighty, Commander of Angel Armies, who is enthroned on Mount Zion.” Isaiah 8:18 TPT
“So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together for good, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose. For he knew all about us before we were born and he destined us from the beginning to share the likeness of his Son. This means the Son is the oldest among a vast family of brothers and sisters who will become just like him.” Romans 8:28, 29 TPT
“And you did not receive the ‘spirit of religious duty,’ leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. But you have received the ‘Spirit of full acceptance,’ enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned, for as he rises up within us, our spirits join him in saying the words of tender affection, ‘Beloved Father!’ For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, ‘You are God’s beloved child!’” Romans 8:15,16 TPT
“A Song of Triumph
For the Pure and Shining One. David’s poetic song of praise God!
Arise with awesome power, and every one of your enemies will scatter in fear! Chase them away—all these God-haters. Blow them away as a puff of smoke. Melt them away like wax in the fire. One good look at you and the wicked vanish. But let all the righteous be glad! Yes, let them all rejoice in your presence and be carried away with gladness. Let them laugh and be radiant with joy! Let them sing their celebration-songs for the coming of the cloud rider whose name is Yah! To the fatherless he is a father. To the widow he is a champion friend. The lonely he makes part of a family. The prisoners he leads into prosperity until they sing for joy. This is our Holy God in his Holy Place! But for the rebels there is heartache and despair. O Lord, it was you who marched in front of your people, leading them through the wasteland.” Psalm 68
